Norton and Cuckney Parish Council
Welcome to Norton and Cuckney Parish Council Website. Our two villages are located in North Nottinghamshire and are situated adjacent to Welbeck Estate. In the past the majority of residents would have been employed by the local Estate, but now the population of 500 or so is more diverse in its choice of occupation.
The Parish Council is made up of residents of the two villages, numbering nine in total. There is no political affiliation within the Council and our main aims are to:
- Improve and enhance the Parish appearance
- Promote greater community involvement
- Promote and improve security and safety within the Parish
- Build links with other local organisations affecting the Parish
We hope you enjoy our website and find the information provided useful. If you wish to contact a Councillor please use our contacts page, and if you wish to attend a meeting they are usually held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7-30pm in the Village Hall.
